... I think of our very first, and last, kiss.

=MariettaRC's character, Azure, reminiscing about a sad memory. He controls ice, and when he's very sad, things tend to freeze around him.

This took about... 3 hours. Not very long, but damn, that was some work. I haven't colored on the computer in months. :o I think it turned out pretty well, even the background. I'm awfully proud.

This is only 50% the size of the original I worked on. It was so huge. D:

Azure belongs to =MariettaRC.

Done in PSP9 in about 3 hours. Original sketch is in my gallery/scraps. :3

The left arm and the left leg really looks awkward. The arm seems to be slightly thinner than the other, and the leg looks like it's in a weird position (lower portion bent?).

It would be nice if there was a more frosty kind of effect around his surroundings, instead of the colors just fading gradually to an icy look.

</nit-pick>

Overall, I do like it. It's mostly simple, but to the point. :) Awsum job.

Thanks for the crits. Yeah, I just noticed that about his left limbs. XD It's too late to fix it now, because I don't want to mess up the colors, but I'll remember that next time I draw.

I did try for a frosty look, or a more real look, but I don't have the skill to pull it off. Spent about a half hour screwing with brushes and colors, but I couldn't get it to look right. XD

Hey, great job on the coloring! I like the frostiness around him, it looks kinda like an aura. Or the misty stuff that comes off of dry ice.

I like how the background surronding Azure is actually illuminated. I think this turned out well and incorporates the character better to the picture (instead of having a very light blue figure slapped on a very earth-toney coloured background).
